Summer fun of polar bears in Dennis Fast's camera lens

We rarely see polar bears outside the snowy arctic environment. But these bears are no stranger to summer fun!

In a rare series of images by Canadian photographer Dennis Fast, these white giants are seen frolicking in a field of fireweed. The photographs were taken in the Hudson Bay of Northern Canada. Fast explains his fascination with polar bears in this excerpt from an interview.

They have a slow, ambitious gait when looking for something moving. It seems that they do not care about the world, and they are not afraid of anything. This is not arrogance, but a quiet confidence that we often respect in people, and this is clearly seen in the polar bear.
