The potbelly stove was very popular in the first half of the 20th century. It replaced fireplaces, but disappeared after the spread of central heating and gas stoves. But, it did not disappear for long.
After going through several stages of evolution, the stoves have gained popularity again. Now they not only warm, but also serve as a luxurious element of dacha and country house decor. They can also bake flavored bread and pizza.
